Minecraft is life

As many are aware, Minecraft, in survival mode at least, can be deemed as a form of life simulator. This post explains the deeper levels of how Minecraft is a way to view life. Particularly, one must consider it a used and uncleared game.

The world select menu

Each world is a different aspect of life, some external, others internal. From here, one selects how to interact in and with life.

  • The real world: interactive with other players and set to survival mode.

  • Your world(view): This is a world set up by parents and other forbearers in which you build upon or deconstruct. It is still interactive with other players.

  • Your otherworld: This is a world constructed solely by you. It is set to creative mode and is home to artistic creations, daydreams, meditations, and more. You ensure this world, as admin, only lets some other players in, but may only give advice, not interact.

  • Hobby world(s): World(s) centering around one's interests that are outside of themselves, often fandoms, and are interactive with other players.

  • Other people's world(view)s: As your worldview is open to other players, you can enter others'.

To linger on this menu, is to be undecided on what to do with life.

Modes

Survival mode is when conflict is involved and damage can be done to both people and the world. Death in game is only a delay. The willingness to respawn is perseverance.

  • The real world is permanently set here as both players and forces of nature (mobs or weather) can cause problems.

  • Your world(view): When this world is intentionally set to survival, it means you enjoy challenges. If set unintentionally, it can mean you feel anxiety or other issues. Mobs are your internal challenges and other players can help or harm you(r world). Generally only you can set it to this mode, but being interactive, it can be hacked if not protected.

  • Hobby world(s): This/these can only be set to survival mode if hacked or an admin switches it up to cause conflict among players.

  • Other people's world(view): The function is similar to your own, but you are a guest and you can help or harm them and there world(view).

Creative mode allows freedom of movement, but can still cause damage to the world.

  • Your world(view): This world is ideal in creative mode. If set to allow mobs, it means you see problems but they are harmless unless provoked. Other players can help build or destroy the world, but in this mode, you are safe. If really in contol, you, as admin can set it to restrict visitor actions.

  • Your otherworld: This is your place to be creative or relax beyond your main world(view). You only allow mobs if your creations or meditations require them. If you do let other players in, you have full control.

  • Hobby world(s): Creative is default. Generally, only admins can interact with the world directly, most only can view and talk.

World deletion

To delete most worlds, it means you are no longer interacting with that world. You cannot delete other peoples' world(views) or the hobby world(s) from the system, just your profile, you can always come back. To delete your world(view) or your otherworld have multiple meanings from simply starting fresh to depression. To delete the real world means you need help.

Why historical fencing?

This video got my thinking about why I am interested in historical fencing. For me, there are two reasons. Self-Defense Most would argue that historical fencing has no place in modern self-defense. Th
