Fencing shield spike

Here is how to attach a spike, made from a springy door stopper, to a targe or buckler to spar safely and add shield punches (that still need some control).

First, drill a hole in the center of the targe or buckler. Thread a bolt with its head on the strap or handle side.

On the other side, close the bolt with a washer and nut. After that, thread the door stopper baseboard and follow it with another nut.

Finally, thread the door stop to its baseboard.

From here, you can add a bigger knob as an even safer option.
