A question about Anglo-Saxons

The Sutton Hoo helmet is absolutely dated to the 6th and 7th centuries AD, the Dane axe was popular in the 10th and 11th centuries. Vikings invaded England in the 9th century. There is a tiny hint that that in Beowulf the helmet described is similar to that of the Sutton Hoo and is dated to be written in the 9th century. The Dane axe is hinted to begin use in the 9th century. Is it possible that the objects encountered each other?
